Support
MDPage: Markdown Reader & PDF for Mac (Markdown Reader once installed).
Write to support@monier.tv with your macOS version, the app's version (Markdown Reader > About Markdown Reader) and, if you can, the Markdown file that shows the problem. I answer every message.
The images of my document do not show
macOS lets the app read the document you open, not the files next to it. When a document has images stored beside it, a banner at the top of the window offers Allow Access: choose the folder once, and the app remembers it.
Quick Look shows plain text
Open the app once after installing it, then check that Markdown Reader is on in System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions > Quick Look. Quick Look shows the page without the images stored next to the file.
Open Markdown files with the app by default
Select a .md file in Finder, choose File > Get Info, pick Markdown Reader under
Open with, then click Change All.
Printing
File > Print Options sets the text size, starts each top-level heading on a new page, and turns the title and page numbers on or off. Select part of a page and choose File > Print Selection to print only that part. File > Export as PDF saves the same pages as a PDF.
Editing
View > Edit Source (⌥⌘E) shows the Markdown beside the preview. To use another editor, choose File > Choose Editor, then File > Open in Editor (⌘E): the reader window follows every save.
Another app changed the file
The window reloads it. If you had unsaved changes, it asks whether to keep yours or use the version on disk.
